Narrator 3

Everybody, say hello to our Sun and the Earth. As our planet, Earth, moves around the Sun, it spins in a tilted position.

The child circling the Sun now tilts their body towards the sun and continues circling

Narrator 4

Earth is tiled at an angle of 23.5 degrees to the sun.

Narrator 5

This tilt is very, very important. The Earth’s tilt causes the seasons: autumn, winter, spring and summer.

Narrator 5

In this assembly, we will be telling you all about the seasons.

Narrator 7

So grab your brollies, hats, scarves, wellies and sunscreen and get ready to meet autumn, winter, spring and summer.

Narrator 8

(Pointing to Earth circling the Sun) Throughout the year, different parts of Earth are closer or further away from the sun’s light.

All

Earth and the Sun leave the stage.
