A Token of Appreciation - Extract
"Humphrey you know it is Mother's day today!" Humphrey's sister called out from upstairs while he was having his breakfast. "I have got her a new scarf she badly needed. What have you got her?" she asked loudly. "Oh no, I totally forgot!" Humphrey called back. And this wasn't the first time Humphrey had forgotten Mother's day. And the problem was that Humphrey loved his mum but was not always able to tell her this. He definitely didn't want to be the only one who didn't get her anything.
