Story: Time to learn (Extract)
As soon as the house was finished, the rich man came to look at the house. He was very pleased because on the outside the house looked skilfully built and looked really strong. "You have worked very hard, I can see that!" said the old man to his builder. "I didn't want to let you down sir!" said the builder, handing the key to the house to the old man. The old man shook his head and refused to take the key. "It's yours!" beamed the old man. "You have worked so hard for me for all these years that I wanted to repay you for all the years you have put into my business!" "Mine?" stammered the builder, managing a sickly smile. He certainly felt sick inside because he had now to live in this cheap house which was going to fall apart soon. He had cheated himself out of a great gift. He deserved what he got for not being honest!
