Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Child sitting on the sofa stands up and begins to mime being a caveman and painting a picture on the wall of their 'cave.'
The oldest cave painting recorded can be found in a cave in Spain. It dates from the year 6,300 BC. Caves were excellent shelters because they stayed cool in the summer and offered warm, dry shelter in the winter.
Homes and houses across the world have changed a lot since people lived in caves and this picture was drawn.
If you walk down the high street today, you might not see a caveman drawing on his cave wall, but you'll notice lots of different looking buildings, some new and some old.
In the next 15 minutes, we want to take you on a brief tour of homes and houses in history, so sit back and enjoy.
We know that cavemen didn’t just live in caves. Some built houses from mammoth bones, using wood and sticks to build a roof. The Neanderthals, or cavemen, carved pictures and added colours to the bones too.
