The Magic Pot
The rays of the sun were like rods of fire on Lucien’s skin as he stepped on to the market place. He hardly recognised it. Once bustling with life, this was a place where people came to from far and away places to sell their things. Lucien owed a lot to this kingdom as he was one of the many who had tested their fortune and had become very rich there. The famine has changed everything here, he thought to himself. He was right. Trade vanished, the market place died and the people of the kingdom had nothing much to eat.
