Story: Time to learn (Extract)
Leon was very tired from the night before. He had played with his new game on his iPod till very late at night. His mum had turned the lights off in his room but he had carried on playing in the dark anyway.
“So children…. If we had 64 pencils and we had to divide these into 8….” Mrs Devonshire’s voice was loud enough but Leon wasn’t listening because he was busy looking through the window at a huge van parked just outside. He noticed a huge picture of a lion at the side and was staring intently at the long, jagged teeth and the golden mane around its face. Its muscles almost rippled out at him. He loved lions! They were so tough! He turned to Denis who was sitting next to him.
